Cab Calloway Spirit Marching Band:

  • 2005 Cab Calloway Spirit Marching Band (Hanson Finale) came in 3rd Place at Chapter IX Champions for TOB with a 2nd place Colorguard Award. The Band made ACC's for the first time.

  • 2006 Marching Band (In the Shadow of the Dragon) placed 4th at the ACC invitational with an award for percussion and woodwinds.

  • 2007 Marching Band (The Machines) placed 5th at Chapter IX Championship with a record high score for the band of 88.20! The band also did very well at ACC's placing 16th with a score of an 88.00.

  • 2008 Marching Band (The 47 Ronin) placed 2nd at Chapter IX Championship with a new record high score for the band of 89.50! They also set an all-time record with a 90.0 at the Regional Competition. The band also did very well again at ACC's placing 13th with a score of an 88.95.

  • 2009 Marching Band (The Laws of Motion) placed 3rd at Chapter IX Championships with a score of 87.55! At the Atlantic Coast Championships in Hershey, PA, the band recorded the highest ACC's Score of a 89.60 and Placement of 9th. Congratulations to the Drumline for winning 2 Best Percussion Awards!

  • 2010 Marching Band (The Hypar Effect) became the Chapter IX Champion for the first time in school history with a score of 91.05! The Band also won Best in Colorguard, Percussion, Music and Visual. At the Atlantic Coast Championships in Hershey, PA, again the band recorded the highest ACC's Score of a 90.50 and placed 8th. Congratulations to Drum Major Preston McCord for winning 2nd place Drum Major at ACC's.

  • 2011 Marching Band (Sound Garden) became the Chapter IX Champion for the second consecutive year with a score of 89.90! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion, Music, Visual, and, for the first time ever, Drum Major! At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band recorded both the highest placement and score in school history (6th place, 91.95). Also, the CCSA Drum Line won Best Percussion for the first time ever at ACC's and Drum Major Kati Lockwood won 2nd Best Drum Major. 

  • 2012 Marching Band (Chase, Capture, Escape) became the Chapter IX Champion for the third consecutive year with a score of 93.2! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion, Colorguard, Music, Visual, and Drum Major! At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band recorded both the highest placement and score in school history (5th place, 93.35). Also, the CCSA Drum Line won Best Percussion for the 2nd time and Drum Major Kati Lockwood won 3rd Drum Major.

  • 2013 Marching Band (Life is a Highway) became the Chapter IX Champion for the fourth consecutive year with a score of 92.70! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion, Colorguard, Music, Visual, and Drum Major! At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band recorded both the highest placement and score in school history (3rd place, 94.00).

  • 2014 Marching Band (Darkling Thrush) became the Chapter IX Champion for the fifth consecutive year with a score of 91.00! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion, Colorguard, Music, Visual, and Drum Major! At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band recorded  the highest placement in school history (2nd place, 93.35). 

  • 2015 Marching Band (Life on a String) placed 2nd at the Chapter IX Championships with a score of 92.55! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion and Colorguard. At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 6th with a 92.45 and winning the specialty award for Best Woodwinds.

  • 2016 Marching Band (Phases of the Moon) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 92.35! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion and Colorguard. At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 3rd with a 93.30 and winning specialty awards for Best Percussion and Best Drum Major.

  • 2017 Marching Band (All the Queen's Roses) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 95.05! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Colorguard and Percussion. At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 2nd with a score of 97.30 and winning the specialty award for Best Woodwinds.

  • 2018 Marching Band (Universality) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 95.20! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion. At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 2nd with a score of 95.40 and winning the specialty award for Best Woodwinds.

  • 2019 Marching Band (Outside the Bachs) placed 2nd at the Chapter IX Championships with a score of 94.35! At the Chapter Championships, the band won Best Percussion. At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 2nd with a score of 96.40 and winning specialty awards for Best Visual, Percussion and Dum Major.

  • 2020 the Marching Band did not compete due to Covid, but had an amazing season supporting CSW's football team.

  • 2021 Marching Band (Black Swan) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 92.55! No specialty awards were given out at the Chapter Championships. The band became the Atlantic Coast Champions with a score of 94.30 and winning specialty awards for Best Music, Visual, Percussion and Colorguard).

  • 2022 Marching Band (The Sirens) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 92.40!  At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 1st with a score of 92.30 and winning specialty awards for Best Visual, Best Music, and Best Percussion.

  • 2023 Marching Band (1,000 Cranes) became the Chapter IX Champion with a score of 94.00!  At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the band placed 2nd with a score of 96.80 and winning specialty awards for Best Music and Best Percussion.
    Additionally, the Marching Band competed in their first US Bands Open Class National Championships and placed 6th out of 16 national bands, with a score of 91.85 and placed 2nd for Music and Percussion.

 

 

Indoor Percussion Ensemble:

  • 2006 season saw the first edition of the Cab Calloway Indoor Percussion Ensemble. 

  • 2007 Placed 2nd in Chapter 9 Scholastic A Percussion class.

  • 2008 (Astreus) Placed 2nd at Chapter 9 Scholastic A Championship.

  • 2015  Placed 1st at Chapter 9 Scholastic A Stationary class.

  • 2016 (Bring the Heat) Placed 1st at Chapter 9 Scholastic A Marching Percussion and TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist.

  • 2017 (I Was Here) Placed 1st at Chapter 9 Scholastic Open Marching Percussion and TIA All-Chapter Championship Champion.

  • 2018 (Weathering The Storm) Placed 1st at Chapter 9 Scholastic Open Marching Percussion and TIA All-Chapter Champion 1st place.

  • 2019 (Magnetic) Placed 1st at Chapter 9 Scholastic Open Marching Percussion and  TIA All-Chapter Champion 1st place.

  • 2020 (The Aging Tree) - Season ended early due to Covid.

  • 2021 (Escape from Evil) - Virtual Season.

  • 2022 (Sketch) - WGI Regional Scholastic Marching A 2nd place and WGI Percussion World Championships Scholastic Marching A Semi-Finalist (18th place overall).

 

Indoor Colorguard:

  • 2005 (Life in a Northern Town) Scholastic Novice Indoor Chapter 9 Champion!

  • 2006 (Requiem of a Dream) Scholastic Novice Indoor Chapter 9 2nd place.

  • 2007 (Fever) Scholastic Novice A class Chapter 9 Champion , TIA All chapter championship Finalist 6th place. Promoted to SIA Class.

  • 2008 (Find Your Way Home) Scholastic Intermediate A Class Chapter 9 Champion!

  • 2009 (Have You Got It in You?) Scholastic Intermediate A Class Chapter 9 Champion! TIA All Chapter Championship Semi Finalist.

  • 2010 (Imagination) Scholastic Novice A Class Chapter 9 Champion, TIA All-Chapter Championship FINALIST 10th place.

  • 2011 (Invasion) Scholastic Novice A Class Chapter 9 Champion, TIA All-Chapter Championship SILVER MEDAL FINALIST.

  • 2012 (How Hurt Feels) Placed 2nd in Scholastic Intermediate A class, TIA All-Chapter Championship 23rd place.

  • 2013 (Caged Animal) Placed 2nd in Scholastic Intermediate A class, TIA All-Chapter Championship 23rd place.

  • 2014 (Femme Fatale) Placed 1st in Scholastic Intermediate A class, TIA All-Chapter Championship SILVER MEDAL FINALIST.

  • 2015 (#953K) Scholastic A Class Chapter 9 Champion, TIA All-Chapter Championship Semi-Finalist.

  • 2016 (Run) Scholastic A Class Chapter 9 Champion, TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist.

  • 2017 (Castle) Scholastic Intermediate A Class Chapter 9 4th place, TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist. 

  • 2017 (Ash and Dust) Scholastic Regional Class Chapter 9 3rd place, TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist.

  • 2018 (Technicolor) Scholastic Regional A Class Chapter 9 1st place, TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist 8th place.

  • 2018 (The Maze) Scholastic Intermediate Class Chapter 9 1st place, TIA All-Chapter Championship Finalist 9th place.

  • 2019 (Be Our Guest) Scholastic Regional A Class Chapter 9 1st place, TIA All-Chapter Champion 1st place.
